People: Rebecca (Becky) Mieloszyk

Becky Mieloszyk received her Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010 and her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 2012. Before joining MIT, Becky was a summer researcher in Cardiology and Electrophysiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and in RF Sensing at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. She is currently pursuing her PhD degree at MIT under the Helen Carr Peake Fellowship through the Research Lab of Electronics. Becky’s research interests include biological system modeling and medical device development. Becky is mathematically analyzing capnographic waveforms to detect and classify respiratory disease states in procedural sedation and in asthma.
